Released in 2019, Godzilla: King of the Monsters was a new entry in the series and featured legendary titans from the Godzilla universe including Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah.

Warner Bros. Pictures/Xbox approached TAKEOFF to produce four custom Xbox One X consoles as part of a competition to build excitement amongst the film’s target audience before its release.

The TAKEOFF team went all-out, and built four custom Xbox One X consoles that could have been joined the cast of monsters themselves. Each console focused on highly-visual cues for each kaiju; the Godzilla-themed console was complemented by its thick scaly hide and neon-blue back plates, while the Mothra console was scaled back to highlight the monster in beautiful bioluminescence. The Rodan console focused on the fiery fury of the dragon-like titan complete with horns and rough raised scales, while the King Ghidorah console included the horns from each of the giant’s three heads in a menacing yellow finish. Our consoles were a great talking point on social media, generated column inches and were a great competition prize for gamers and Godzilla fans alike.
