Sally Whitemane, daughter of Lordaeron, was forced by the horrific Undead Plague to strike down her own infected family during her childhood. Later adopted by High Lord Mograine, she grew up alongside his son, Renault Mograine. Though they became childhood sweethearts, their deep affection remained a forbidden secret due to the High Lord's stern disapproval. Driven by resentment, Renault was eventually lured by the Scourge into committing parricide. Despite knowing the truth, Whitemane chose to shield him, guarding the dark secret together. Rising to the rank of High Inquisitor of the Scarlet Crusade, she succumbed to paranoia under the manipulation of a Dreadlord, launching a fanatical and bloody campaign of vengeance against the undead. Her life ended at the Scarlet Monastery at the hands of Lilian Voss, only to be resurrected by the Knights of the Ebon Blade as a Death Knight. Now, as one of the New Four Horsemen, she continues to fight in the very undead form she once loathed most.
