A hero grenade launcher used in the production of the 2005 shooter Doom. When a science team goes missing in a research base on Mars, Sarge (Dwayne Johnson), Reaper (Karl Urban) and the RRTS are sent in to find them. But a terrible secret and inhuman experimentation have created monsters beyond imagining, and they have to do whatever it takes to stop them reaching Earth.

This grenade launcher was the personal weapon of Mac (Yao Chin), the team’s explosive weapons expert. A hero weapon made for close-ups, this grenade launcher is made of aluminium with dress-up parts made of hard rubber and expanding foam. A row of grenades in a box magazine is glued to the aluminium receiver, which is a clamshell fitted around a hard rubber G36 assault rifle. Sling mounts are present at the front grip and buttstock. Yellow, red and blue LEDs have been added to the left hand side but were not wired up for use on the production. The weapon has been given a metallic green finish which has sadly begun to flake away, revealing the weapon’s aluminium body beneath. A rubber Aimpoint-style sight is glued onto a picatinny rail on the top of the weapon.

Well used on the production, the steel barrel extension is no longer present and multiple black rubber dress-up components have been broken off through use and time spent in storage. The weapon remains in an overall fair condition.
