Back and sides of layered sapele together with a solid mahogany top produce a bold, resonant acoustic sound with impressive volume and projection. Designed in partnership between Naughty Dog and Taylor, the solid black top showcases custom imagery that echoes the culmination of Ellie's journey in The Last of Us Part II. Finishing details include transparent black stain for the back, sides and neck, along with a custom peghead decal and interior label. This all-acoustic guitar includes a sturdy hard-shell gig bag with backpack straps for easy portability.

The guitar was originally only open for pre-orders through the month of July following the game's release, but was made available again for September 26th (The Last of Us Day). We reached out to Taylor Guitars to request the exact number that were made for this initial run, which they generously provided. There were 474 of the 314ce version and 314 of the GS Mini version.

Both guitars were made available again on September 26th, 2021, but only in Europe. This second run sold an additional 92 of the 314ce and 48 of the GS Mini.
